Write TID into blank-EPC tags for TCP scanning

Write TID into EPC Bank
Place ONE blank-EPC tag on the reader, paste its TID below, and click Write. The TID will be written into the EPC bank so TCP inventory can detect it.
Example: E28069150000600ED544488F (24 hex chars)
Quick workflow:
- 1Open S4A demo software (USB connection)
- 2Click Inventory — find the blank-EPC tag in the list
- 3Copy the value from the DATA column (starts with E2)
- 4Paste it above and click Write (tag must be on the reader)
Note: The Write command may not work over TCP on all reader models. If it fails, use the demo software's built-in Write EPC function via USB instead. The "Assign TID to Equipment" tab lets you link TIDs to equipment without writing to the tag.
How Tag Programming Works
1
Get TIDUse the demo software (USB) to read the tag. The TID appears in the DATA column (e.g. E28069150000600ED544488F).
2
Write or AssignEither write the TID into the tag's EPC bank (so TCP can read it), or assign the TID directly to equipment in the database.
3
Scan via TCPOnce programmed, the TCP bridge will detect the tag automatically during normal inventory scanning.
